About

Some random things about me… in no particular order… ready… set… go…

I am a Christian. I am married to the most amazing man, Keith, and we have four small-ish kids. The big one, Savannah, is in fourth grade; the big middle, Luke, is 7, and in third grade; the little middle, Sydney is five and in kindergarten; Skyler, the baby, is one.

I like to make stuff. Lots of different mediums, lots of different skills. I don’t profess to be an expert in any. On any given day I’ll be baking, sewing, knitting, paper crafting with my Silhouette, or some other random woodworking project. Not an expert, but I will try most anything.

I also like to work out. I was extreeeemly overweight when my oldest daughter was born, but I saw the light, stopped stuffing my face and starting lifting weights. I am not naturally thin. I bust my butt to look average. I learned a lot through bodybuilding.com and Oxygen Magazine. I ran a marathon once. I was about 20 pounds heavier than I am now when I ran it. It took me 5 hours and 9 minutes. I dream about running another one.

I like to write and share projects, but haven’t made much time to devote to blogging since the kids came along. I’m trying again, even if only to compile all my projects together in one space to look back upon.

I very rarely write for other reasons, but I do have an opinion on topics and current events. Occasionally you may see a post, awkwardly written, as I feebly attempt to share my heart or thoughts. I have a brain, I like to think, I like to discuss ideas and issues.

This blog is a compilation of my projects, interests, and passions. Thanks for stopping by.
